Policies
AquaKids® wants to make sure you have the best experience possible. Please refer to the policies below and if you have any questions, contact us.
Every student must fill out a registration form the first time they enroll with us. This registration form will be kept on file at your facility. Periodically, the AquaKids® staff may decide that a renewal of all registration forms is necessary. In the event that all registration forms are renewed, you will be asked to fill out a new registration form.
The registration form can be accessed by clicking here.
We offer make-up lessons as a courtesy to our customers. Every student enrolled in a weekly group session is entitled to one free make-up lesson. After the free make-up lesson, you may schedule additional make-up lessons for $5 each. The make-up fee must be paid at the time that you schedule the make-up lesson and is nonrefundable if you cancel it.
Make-up lessons for our swim camps are not offered due to their pace and condensed period of time. It is very tough to schedule a make-up lesson for a class that meets 10 times in a period of 2 weeks and it is crucial to each student’s success that they do not miss a class.
Make-up lessons for private lessons may be scheduled for a fee of $10.
These policies do not apply to any classes canceled by the AquaKids® staff.
If your child will be absent for their swim class, please inform our office staff so that we can mark you absent and try to fill your spot for that lesson.
AquaKids® does offer credit for future lessons or merchandise in the event of a medical emergency if your swimmer will be out of lessons for an extended period of time. Credit for tuition will only be given in the event of a medical emergency. In order to apply for a credit, a credit request form must be completed by your location’s office staff. The Facility Manager will review the request and contact you as soon as possible to discuss your request.
If your cancelation is received at least 14 days prior to the beginning of your session, a refund minus the non-refundable registration fee may be given. If your refund request is not received at least 14 days prior to the beginning of your session, a refund will not be given. In order to apply for a refund, a refund request form must be completed by your location’s office staff. The Facility Manager will review the request and contact you as soon as possible to discuss your request.
A minimum of 2 students must be enrolled in a class for the class to be held. When you are enrolling, try to pick a class that currently has students enrolled. Most parents believe that if they pick an empty class to enroll in, that their child will see better results but children feed off of other children and tend to do better in a group setting for an extended period of time. In order to save you time later on, try to pick a class that already has students enrolled in it.
All children under the age of 3 or children that are not potty trained must wear a cloth, non-disposable swim diaper while in the water. We do not require that you also wear another diaper underneath the cloth diaper but you may do so if you would like. These cloth, non-disposable swim diapers are available for purchase at your facility for $11 for just the diaper or for $18 for a swimsuit with the diaper built in.
In the event that the pool is closed due to inclement weather or a chemical or pool imbalance, a free make-up lesson will be given. If there is inclement weather, call us prior to coming to class if you are unsure if we will be having classes.
Each student must pay a $25 non-refundable annual registration fee per calendar year if enrolled in swim lessons. The registration fee is paid for the first two students and is waived for any others.
You are welcome to transfer to any class, at any time, for any reason! We do not charge a fee for you to transfer. If the class is open and it works better for your schedule, go ahead and transfer! See an office staff member in order to execute the transfer.
Friend/family and word of mouth referrals make up a huge portion of our business. For each person that registers and mentions your name, you will receive one free swim bag of your choice. Our swim bags are great because they are washable and you can throw it in the wash with your child’s swimsuit after every class and then bring it to the next class.
Each of our facilities is equipped with a huge observation room. Our observation rooms are air-conditioned and Wifi enabled for your comfort and convenience. We encourage you to stay and watch swim lessons. The last 5 minutes of each class is reserved for the kids to show off what they learned in class and for you to ask any questions that you may have.
